Every day is a day to give thanks – start collecting a thankful thought each day, and then read them throughout the holidays!
- A small piece of wood
- A mason jar
- A pipe fastener (up to 3 1/2″)
- 1 small screw (shorter than the thickness of your wood piece)
- 3 nickel cup hooks

Crayon Cubes
‘Cool’ way to re-use all those broken crayons. Think about using different shaped cubes too – fun!
Binding a Felt Book
Magazine Alphabet Fun
Use a recycled wipes container to hold letters that you have cut from magazines and laminated (use clear tape!). Have the kids dump out a few letters and see what words they can make – Fun!

What a great idea – to have your each of your child’s teachers sign a page. This would be a cute baby shower gift, or just starting school gift.
Think of the other people who could sign too – like the babysitter who takes her charges on adventures. Or scout leaders, youth group leaders, or church leaders.
Magnetic Chore Chart
Make a chore chart with an old folder, pics of chores and strips or sticky-back magnets. Hang in an area that the kids can reach so they can ‘close’ each task as it’s finished – cool!
