Use a strong craft glue to attach plastic animals to the tops of mason jar lids. Spray paint to match your party theme. When all dry, fill the jars with candy/treats. Your guests will love them!

I’m loving this idea for a kids party…. honestly, I’m loving this idea for any time of day, even if I’m by myself!!

Bake cupcakes ahead of time. Clean out the cupcake/muffin tins and put a variety of toppings (including frosting). Guests can dip ’til their heart’s content.

Textured Furniture Update

Use modpodge and lace to dress up the fronts of drawers. When dry, paint over the whole piece with the same color. Paint the trim a contrasting color, like white in the pic. The result is a lovely texture! Subtle, but beautiful!
