Lord of the Rings Hanging Rack
Fun project for your favorite hobbit lover.
- 1″x6″ piece of wood. *cut to 18″ long
- One 1/4″ round dowel cut into seven 2″ sections.
- Wood glue
- 7 wood plug buttons approx. 3/8″ (optional)
- Saw to cut wood
- Sawtooth no-nail hangers (optional)
- Sandpaper
- X-acto knife
- Paper or cardstock
- Drill
- Paint
- Mod Podge

Strike up the band!
You need…
- Small length of garden hose
- Medium sized funnel
- Trumpet mouthpiece (found at any music store) OR use the metal connector at the end of the hose
- Duck Tape
It’s pretty simple, just tape the pieces together as in the picture and toot your own horn!
Comic Book Furniture
This is an oldie but goodie!
Decorate an old dresser or table with Comic Book pages. All you’ll need is the furniture, comic books, glue and scissors. Apply the pages and coat the whole thing with varnish. Would make a great addition to a kids room or man cave.
Dress for the Weather Chart
As a kid, I always thought it would be great to have some kind of chart for what to wear for different temperatures. My parents always had the rule of no swimming unless it’s at least 80 degrees. But for other days, do I need a jacket? Can I wear shorts? Do I HAVE to wear a coat? Awwww… Mom!!
Here’s a chart to end the fights. It was created for people with autism. But I think it’s great for anyone that’s just not sure.
