Bubble Wrap Game

Fun for the family, classroom or scout meeting!

bubblewrap-gameYou’ll need:

  • Roll of Bubble Wrap
  • Masking Tape
  • A Few Sheets of Paper and Marker (optional)

Directions: Roll out the bubble wrap and lay it on the floor starting at the door. Tape it into place. On each sheet of paper write a different instruction: (walk, hop, stomp, tip toe, etc.) Tape these down next to the bubble wrap ‘road’ at intervals.

To play:

When the kids walk in, they have to follow the instructions (hop, tip toe, etc.).

You can judge them by how many bubbles popped or how loud they are, or by the fewest bubbles popped and how quiet they are.

Either way, everyone wins because it’s awesomely fun!

Lucky Ducks

Lucky Ducks is a game for little kids. Easy and inexpensive to set up and always a favorite at festivals.

You need:

  • Rubber duckies, several- all of the same style
  • A clear container or small baby pool
  • Water, with some blue food dye adds a nice touch
  • Permanent marker
  • Prizes, small toys, stickers, candy, etc.

Set up: Determine how many prize categories you’ll have and divide them up. Three is what I use. Mark the bottoms of the ducks with a 1, 2 or 3. Make a cute sign with the price, if you are charging to play. Fill the container or pool half-way up with water and add the ducks.

To play: Kids pay. They select a duck, pull it out and check to see which prize they will get. Easy!

Dog Bone Ring Bearer

Here’s a cute idea for when your best man is man’s best friend. Have him a part of the ceremony!

Drill holes into a dog bone shaped piece of wood. One on each side and 2 in the center. Base coat the bone white, and then distress the edges with brown, black or grey. Add the wording and ribbons. At the ceremony tie on the rings right before Pooch walks down the aisle.
