Use fabric paint to draw the eyes, nose and perch. Then start sewing on the scraps – I’d suggest starting at the bottom and work your way up to the eyes. Great way to use up all those fabric scraps.

Disclaimer: I rarely post projects that suggest to use toilet paper tubes. It’s a pet peeve of mine, that people will save and use something that has sat next to an active, flushing toilet for a week or more. So, I ALWAYS suggest if you are doing a project that requires to use cardboard tubes – grab a paper towel tube or better yet a wrapping paper tube instead. Thank you! *mini-rant over* 😉

Shell Snail
Cute little guys to give as gifts, or to decorate your space.
You’ll need:
- Shells from the beach (or buy shells at a craft store)
- Air dry clay
- Markers and/or paints, as desired
Form the clay into the basic body shape (think: slug!) Press in the shell. Let dry. Decorate as desired.
